Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the questions we hear most. Each links to a fuller guide.
Will the agent change anything without asking me?
No. Every change is drafted and sent to you first, and only applied after you approve it, either by replying to an email or by confirming it in your dashboard. New campaigns are sent to you for review first, and the summary says whether they'll start running or stay paused. The one exception is stop all ad spend, which pauses everything straight away because you asked. See Approving, declining and changing suggestions.
What happens if I don't reply?
Nothing changes. Your ads keep running exactly as they are, and suggestions you don't answer eventually expire. You can catch up on them later in Tweak Logs.
How quickly are approved changes made?
Usually within minutes of your reply. When things are busy your email can sit in a queue for up to an hour or two, which is normal. Your agent confirms back once a change is done.
Who pays for the ads?
You do, directly to Google and Meta, using the payment details in your own ad accounts. Your Campaign Brain subscription covers the agent and our team only. See Plans, billing and invoices.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. To cancel, email hello@campaignbrain.io at least 7 days before your next billing date. See Changing or cancelling your plan.
Do you need my Google or Facebook passwords?
No. You give us access through Google's and Meta's own permission screens, and you can remove it at any time. See Connecting your Google Ads and Facebook accounts.
Can I still log in to my own Google Ads or Facebook account?
Yes. They're your accounts. If you make changes yourself, let your agent know by replying to your daily email, so its suggestions take them into account.
I'm going on holiday. What should I do?
Switch to a weekly email or turn on Pause all agent emails on the Preferences tab. Your ads keep running as they are. If you'd like spend reduced or campaigns paused while you're away, just ask your agent by email. See How often we email you.
Can I tell the agent never to do something?
Yes. Reply with something like from now on, never pause the brand campaign and it's saved as a standing instruction. See Standing instructions.
Can a colleague approve changes too?
Yes. Add their address under Settings → Authorised emails and they can email the agent and approve changes. See Authorised emails.
Can I talk to a real person?
Always. Reply help please to any Campaign Brain email, log a ticket from Settings, or call 1300 304 640. See Getting help from a person.
Still stuck? Reply help please to any Campaign Brain email and our Sydney team will pick it up, or call 1300 304 640. See Getting help from a person.
